Planned maintenance services

NCP offers a range of planned mill maintenance services improving overall machine reliability. NCP is a mill OEM and can supply, install & commission any mill components.
• Supply and install girth gears, pinions and all other drive components
• Gears and drive train alignments
• Mill foundation and base plates repairs/upgrades
• Supply and install all mill rotating components (shell, trunnion heads etc.)
• Journal bearings supply and installation
• Supply and install all mill lubrication systems

Mill health inspections

Mill components need to be monitored and inspected for acceptable limits in order to achieve maximum life of the mill components. Periodic inspection is a pre-requisite for an efficient maintenance program. By monitoring and inspecting the mill and associated equipment you will obtain sufficient information to schedule maintenance on components at a scheduled maintenance shut downs, as opposed to doing the maintenance on an emergency basis.

To derive the maximum benefit from both planned and unplanned maintenance, it is essential to keep an accurate history of inspection records, repairs and alterations to the installation. NCP will generate a report with every inspection and ensure proper record keeping, as well as assist to track condition of components.

Supply of mill spares for any brand of mill including reverse engineering of existing parts on site and replacement thereof

We are one of the only Mill OEM’s that supplier spares to any brand of mill.
NCP has the ability to reverse engineer any mill component on site and supply replacement or spare parts with OEM’s warrantees and a “guarantee to fit”.

Repair, refurbish and upgrade all mill components

With our extensive experience as a mill OEM we can engineer and upgrade any mill component to improve their performance. We can repair and refurbish any model or brand of mill and return parts thereof or the full mill. NCP can also offer temporary site welding repairs, wash and wear on critical mill components and complete a structural evaluation using FEA to establish whether replacement is necessary.
